Alexandra DeFelice is the Director of Marketing and Business Development for Payne & Fears LLP in Southern California. Prior to joining Payne & Fears, Alexandra worked for a large regional law firm in Portland, Oregon, where she served as a business development manager for two of the firm’s six core industry groups. She previously served as senior manager for the North American headquarters of an international group of accounting firms. Colleen Duczynski

 

Colleen Duczynski is a Regional Manager with the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts.  She serves in a management-consulting role with Audit Managers conducting periodic reviews of division facilities and operations.  She has 20 years’ experience with the Comptroller’s office starting as a Tax Auditor with primary experience in sales and franchise tax and later managing the Chicago audit office.  Colleen earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and master’s degree in taxation from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.  The Texas Comptroller’s office provided her many opportunities where she is grateful to provide a public service while also utilizing her passion for accounting and taxation.

Mark Koziel became president and CEO of Allina Global in August 2020 after 14 years with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Nadia earned her CPA license in 2009 and Masters in Taxation in 2007 from the University of North Texas. At Intuit, Nadia is also an instructor for their training and tax education program. Nadia has experience in Public Accounting where she performed tax planning projections and prepared tax returns for high networth individuals and different types of businesses. She is an active CPA that continues to assist taxpayers with tax compliance and advisory services.


Nadia has a passion for sharing her knowledge with others, from helping her son and daughter find the
common denominator in fractions to teaching her peers about the latest tax law changes and industry

Kelly K. Welter, CPA has worked in public practice since graduating from Oregon State University and Agder Business College in Kristiansand, Norway in 1994 where she received dual bachelors' degrees in Accounting and International Business. 

She worked at two local firms in Oregon before moving to Las Vegas in 2002. She then worked as the tax manager at a local firm until going out on her own in 2005 and opened KKW & Associates, Inc. in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 2011, Kelly merged her firm with another local firm, Serl & Keefer CPAs, to form Serl Keefer Welter CPAs, LLP. The firm specializes in individual and business taxation as well as business consulting. 

Kelly is a member of the American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants, the Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Accounting & Financial Women’s Alliance, the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce, and the Las Vegas Leaders Chapter of BNI. She also recently joined the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Women’s Networking Group. 

She currently serves on the Women’s Initiatives Executive Committee for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, is the National Treasurer for Moms In Business Enterprises, Inc., and is the National AICPA Liaison and National VP Communications for the American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants.

In the past, Kelly has served in multiple positions on the National Board for the American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants including National President in 2013-2014. She has also served as the Moms In Business Network Southern Nevada Leader, as Treasurer for Boys Hope Girl Hope – Nevada, as Treasurer for GNJ Family Life Center, and as Treasurer of the Rotary Club Las Vegas Summerlin.

Kelly currently lives in Las Vegas with her husband and four children. She spends most of her free time at baseball games, at dance competitions, playing with her dog, and educating on health and wellness using essential oils.

Justin is a Senior Tax Analyst with a Miami-based tech company that created an application that connects individuals and business taxpayers to contracted CPAs and EAs to prepare their income tax returns. Justin is involved as a technical resource to the business-to-consumer and business-to-business service lines. He has nearly a decade of public accounting experience serving small and middle market business clients at both small and large public accounting firms. Justin has experience in various industries and tax specialties, such as international tax, state and local tax, corporate tax, small businesses, and individual tax. During the pandemic, Justin consulted with clients to assist them with PPP & EIDL loans, PPP loan forgiveness applications, and advised individuals and businesses of the tax implications as a result of the ongoing changes in tax legislation.
