DeAnn Hill

DeAnn is the owner of a small CPA practice in Southeast Kansas, DeAnn Auman Hill, CPA. The firm was founded in 1985. She holds the professional designations of CPA, PFS and CGMA.  She, along with her staff, cater to closely held, family owned businesses by providing outside controller and consulting services,   with a varied tax practice. DeAnn graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1980. She is a member of the AICPA, PCPS and the Kansas Society of CPA’s in which she served as President in 2000. She was a member of the AICPA Financial Reporting Framework for Small to Medium Entities drafting committee, Co Chair of the 2012-2014 AICPA Practitioners Symposium/Tech Plus and also a curent member of the AICPA Board of Directors.

 

DeAnn is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer for the State of Kansas.  This appointment began July 1, 2013. She splits her time between her firm in Baxter Springs, Kansas and her office at the Statehouse in Topeka, Kansas.
