Karen Kerber, CPA/CITP/CGMA/CFF

As a partner with KerberRose, Karen is responsible for providing audit, accounting and tax services to clients, as well as for quality assurance and providing technical resources and assistance to others within the firm.

 

Karen is the former chairperson of the Technical Issues Committee of the AICPA’s Private Company Practice Section, a role centered on interfacing with accounting and auditing standards setters, providing comments and perspectives on the impact of accounting standards on private companies, not-for-profit entities and governmental entities. She is a member of the Private Company Practice Section executive committee. Also as part of her involvement with the profession, she was a member of the committee which contributed to the development of the Financial Reporting Framework for Small and Medium-Sized Entities developed by the AICPA.

 

Karen has been involved in contributing to various AICPA publications including the AICPA Audit Guide: “Assessing and Responding to Audit Risk in a Financial Statement Audit” and authoring a guide on auditor’s reports issued under the new ASB clarified standards. Karen has also been a presenter at a variety of conferences on accounting and auditing issues as well as AICPA webcasts.
