Robert R. Harris, CPA, CFF, FCPA

Robert R. Harris served as Chairman of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants for 2009-2010.

 

Harris has served the AICPA in many capacities and was awarded the AICPA Gold Medal Award of Distinction in 2014. He is a former member of the Board of Directors of the AICPA and has been a member of the governing Council since 1989.

 

He currently represents the United States as a member of the Board of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and serves as the chair of its Audit Committee as well as a member of its Planning and Finance Committee.

 

He is a partner in Rehmann Robson (the 29th largest CPA firm in the USA). In his role as a consulting and testifying expert since 1996, he has been actively involved in over 500 CPA and attorney defense cases. He speaks to attorneys and CPAs throughout the country on professional standards and malpractice issues.
